Good morning, beautiful friends! Today is the start of a new, wonderful season, and how fitting is this verse today. We are honored to move forward into a new season, with greater capacity to see this ministry flourish for God’s namesake. If you’re anything like me, you worry about your future more times than you can count. Where are You taking me, God? Will You provide all that I need? How will Your plan come to pass? Am I going to fail? Will I be all alone? These are thoughts that can consume, even cripple God’s people from following His commands. Yet, He tells us over and over in the biblical narrative, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.” Isaiah 41:10

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and in his joy he went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls. When he found one very precious pearl, he went away and sold all he had and bought it.” Matthew 13:44-46

This passage inspires even the most fearful of God’s children to leave all that she has in pursuit of the greatest treasure of all, Jesus. We are leaving all behind today, all that we have, our mistakes, regrets, attachments to possessions, to people, to our own personal plans, for the uttermost call to pursue Jesus. With eyes stayed on Him and hearts steadfast in Him, we are excited to see what chasing this treasure of the kingdom of God will bring, who it will bring, and the purposes it is all for.

Heavenly Father,

Fill us today with Your peace. Fill us today with Your power. Lead us into Your purpose.
